Children's Home
Paragould, AR

Children’s Home Inc. is a rainbow of hope for children in need. rainbowSince 1955 they have provided Christian homes for children whose parents cannot care for them because of death, separation, abandonment, illness or other reasons. The Children’s Home is 100% privately supported and does not accept government boarding payments. Funding comes from donations from churches, individuals, businesses, groups and foundations. The Children’s Home offers various programs and services such as:  residential care, foster care, adoption, learning centers and animal therapy.  The residential care program consists of nine family cottages located on its main campus in Paragould, AR. Each cottage contains a Christian husband and wife which are called “house parents”.  Each team of “house parents” oversees the children in their home.  In residential care children are expected to participate in regular worship services.  Children's Homes provides care for 17-20 children in private Christian homes in Arkansas. Each foster family provides a Christian environment within their own home, caring for children in both short-term and long-term situations. Children's Homes also works to facilitate adoptions to families who are faithful members of the churches of Christ.   Every year the members of the Cades Church Of Christ volunteer to support one of the residential cottages at the Children’s home.   The support provided consists of:  periodic fellowship and visitation of the cottage, arranging activities in which to provide outings for the children and providing Christmas presents for each child in the cottage.  The members of our congregation are proud to support this great work and realize the need for Christian families to aid in helping each child overcome the unfortunate effects of abuse & neglect.
